Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors is a fast-paced, campy parody of Bram Stoker’s classic Dracula, blending horror, farce, and contemporary comedy.
The story follows Dracula, the famously seductive vampire, as he sets his sights on England and the unsuspecting Mina Harker. Along the way, a wildly eccentric cast—including Renfield, Van Helsing, Jonathan Harker, and Lucy—gets caught up in Dracula’s plans. With rapid-fire jokes, outrageous physical comedy, gender-bending casting, and plenty of theatrical chaos, the play gleefully sends up the conventions of the original story while celebrating the fun of live theatre.
At its heart, Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors is a high-energy, irreverent romp about love, identity, desire, and the eternal battle between good and evil—with a lot more laughs than scares.
